The Grand Caravan is a true institution in the minivan segment, and 2026 is shaping up to be an especially interesting year thanks to several new features added to the model.
The 2026 Chrysler Grand Caravan will soon arrive at dealerships with a starting price below $50,000, which is excellent news. In fact, it’s priced at $49,995 including destination and preparation fees for the SXT version, which is the only trim available. Chrysler is opting for a simple formula with a fully equipped Grand Caravan.
Robust and Modern
Under the hood, the American manufacturer’s minivan offers the same classic 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, producing 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels.
On the technology side, the model features a 10.1-inch touchscreen that integrates the Uconnect 5 system, one of the most capable of its kind. There’s also a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic detection are all included as standard equipment on the Grand Caravan.
The 2026 Chrysler Grand Caravan remains a benchmark for comfort and safety, offering more than 100 standard safety-related features.
For 2026, the American automaker’s minivan now comes standard with leather seats, a black interior, and second-row sunshades — features that were previously available only as options.
Built in Canada
As always, the minivan will be assembled in Windsor, Ontario, and remains a Canadian exclusive, as it has been for 40 years. In fact, there is an equivalent to the Grand Caravan in the United States, but it is sold as the Voyager. The Chrysler Grand Caravan is one of the rare vehicles built right here in Canada, making it something of a local point of pride. All in all, we’re happy to see it return for 2026.
