Select trims ship with the Uconnect 5 system on a 10.1-inch touchscreen, bundling AM/FM radio, AUX/USB inputs, voice text reply, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, HD radio, Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM 360L with Pandora, firmware over-the-air updates, and dual phone connectivity. Audio runs through six speakers at this level. Limited and above move to Uconnect 5 NAV with TomTom navigation, Chrysler Connect, SiriusXM Traffic, and SiriusXM Travel Link. The sound system progression runs from an Alpine 13-speaker setup on Limited to a Harman Kardon 19-speaker system with 10-inch subwoofer on Pinnacle gas, reaching a Harman Kardon 20-speaker system on Plug-in Hybrid Pinnacle.
Standard safety technology spans the full lineup: Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection, Lane Departure Warning-Plus, ParkSense rear park assist with stop, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking, electronic stability control, electric parking brake with Safe Hold, and tire-pressure monitoring. Airbag protection covers advanced multistage front units, inflatable knee blockers for both front occupants, front seat-mounted side airbags, and side-curtain airbags for outboard passengers in all three rows. The Uconnect Theater with wireless streaming is standard on Pinnacle and available on other trims, mounting 10.1-inch seatback touchscreens with Amazon Fire TV for Auto, wireless headphones, HDMI inputs, and a Blu-ray/DVD player on Limited and Pinnacle -- a welcome addition for longer drives through the province. The Safety Sphere Group, standard on both Pinnacle trims and optional elsewhere, includes ParkSense front park assist with stop and a 360-degree surround view camera system.
